Because Canadians can be (politely and respectfully) disruptive too.

[Please note: by disruption, we mean a strong drum beat and demands from cars to honk if they love democracy. As always this will be a peaceful, law-abiding, and community-centered event!)

On July 17, people across the United States will rise to defend their civil and human rights as they face growing threats to protest, voting, and public participation.

Here in Vancouver, we are standing alongside them because the erosion of rights anywhere sharpens the risk everywhere. Showing up for these rights in public is one of the ways we protect them, how we make clear what we stand for, and who we stand with.

As always, this will be a peaceful, non-violent, community-centered event.
